Thiemo Wambsgangss – Visiting Professorship at KAIST School of Computing

During the spring semester, Prof. Dr. Thiemo Wambsganss joined the KAIST School of Computing as a visiting professor, hosted by Juho Kim and the KIXLAB research group. This visit offered a valuable opportunity for our research lab to engage with one of the world’s leading Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) communities and to exchange ideas in a highly stimulating academic environment.

As part of this international engagement, Thiemo Wambsganss gave invited talks at both KAIST and NYU Shanghai, presenting recent research on intelligent writing support systems for education, cognitive redistribution, and how AI technologies redefine how we write, work, and learn.

The visit was marked by engaging discussions and insightful exchanges with researchers and students at both institutions. We are especially grateful to Juho Kim, Tae Soo Kim, Joseph Seering, Heechan Lee, Daeheon Jeong, Eunhye Kim, and all members of KIXLAB, as well as colleagues at NYU Shanghai, for their warm welcome and inspiring conversations.
